| I can't stand fiction, unless it is so over the top that I don't keep wondering how they did some effect, so I guess action movies bother me. I never thought about that. Watching an interview with Meryl Streep on Charlie Rose, about the movie about Julia Child, and was interested. usually I can't stand listening to interviews about some person who wrote a story, and how they made the movie, and what they had to make it. I don't need to watch or listen to what they dreamed up, sometimes in a durnken or drug induced stupor. Music is different for some reason, probably because it isn't about life and living. | |

| except instrumentals.)) Are there horror songs? Maybe some Rap. Action songs? Umm national anthems... I guess without the video.. Forget music vids. They are like movies.))
Another thing I don't like are subtitles, unless they are in the same language, for if you can't make out the speech or accent, and I Really hate the ones you can see through, and can't read, or the ones that last 1 sec. Must have the guy doing the credits placing them.))

My favorite movies are often the foreign movies, even though they have sub-titles. We tend to get the best foreign films here, so even though they take more effort to watch, they are often so excellent that they are worth it.

| I prefer watching the actors than reading. Used to be I liked the TV on when listeing to music, and could tell what the story was by their actions. I think a good actor is more fun to watch, when I used to watch fiction.
I may dislike fiction, because when I was real young I hated being scared by horror movies. When I learned how movies were made they didn't bother me after. I would think about all the people off camera probably laughing. I guess I look past the actors to the director to the writer, and wonder what was in their, or what they were on when they wrote the story.))
