It's a tough call Chris. I have been married a long time. My husband and I were both on the same page in the beginning but then I opened up spiritually and he didn't. That was okay for me for a few years but then years later, I started feeling lonely and still do. I want a spiritual partner.

Larry King is an atheist, and his eighth and current wife is a devout Mormon, so these types of relationships can work for some people....they've been married 12 years now..... Wikipedia says he's an agnostic, but he frequently says he doesn't believe in God on his TV show.

in an interview King was asked, if he could interview god, what would he like it ask, and he said, If he had a son...

If one partner is religous, and the other isn't, but that doesn't matter to either, there shouldn't be a problem, but if one feels strongly about their beliefs or lack of them, it could be a problem. I wouldn't enjoy a partner who attributed everything to a god, good and bad. I consider it signs of maturity or a lack of. Opposites can attract, but can also clash.
