PC problems Empty
PostSubject: PC problems   PC problems Icon_minitimeMon Aug 17, 2009 4:19 am

I had switched to a HDD that had Windows loaded. I thought it had stopped working. Some things like this BB took a long time to load. I had been using one with a version of Linux, that had some problems. it is an old version, and probably needs fixes or updates, and it isn't supported anymore, and I couldn't find updates. I tried to load a new Linux, Umbutu, so tried another HDD, but it wouldn't load. I have a bunch of HDD's that the boot sectur got fragmented, loading a windows upgrade too many times after reformatting. MS will fix it, but it is a hassle. I went to start the PC with the HDD with Win, and it kept rebooting when Win was starting to install, so not sure what That is about. At least with this Suse Linux, the BB works. I was clicking on icons many times to try to get them to work with the HDD with Win on it. Always something to try to fix. Not sure if the brakes are completely fixed. Feel better but I have some questions about it heating up more than the other sid, and the moytor still overheating which could be from the brake dragging.
