Alien

the young alien waitress at the diner is funny. Got me looking up whale blubber to see if it is edible. She said it is what is or was used to make bubble gum, and it wasn't edible. Told her I didn't think so. Said she was told it in school. Gona have to ask if some duggie told her.)) One waitress eats sushi and we asked her, and she wasn't sure. Looked it up and it is eaten as sushi.

She is funny, and I seem to confuse her, making her ask me exactly what I want. I don't eat much there, since it usually bothers me in some way, like headaches, or going right through me. They are busy, so Others must not have a problem. I have been just ordering toast, and they let the packs of butter sit out in the kitchen, and especially in the summer, the butter melts, and one guy Spilled it on him when he opened the pack it was liquid. I wouldn't use any where you could see the butter melted and ran, since no telling how long it had been warm, and one time I ate it, it bothered me. I asked for the bulk butter they Call Soft. Brooke the waitress has been getting it for me for a while, but asked if it was the white or yellow one, since they also have bulk margarine, which I can't stand. I wasn't sure of the color, so it got confusing. She is a good waitress and always doing something, and I make her work, like I like my cup of tea filled to the top, because all I put in is sugar, and hate 3/4 cup. Brooke started putting a small monkey dish on top, because she said when she carries it over it gets on and burns her hand. The other day she put it on upside down and it slipped off, and I asked if she had been drinking. If a girl is pretty I like to tell her. With her I didn't want to say it, but was going to say, not only was she pretty, but cute with the things she says and does, and I was ready to, and she tells Me I was cute, with the crazy stuff I put her through. The whole thing is funny, because I think she is an alien, because she doesn't walk, looks like she floats, and with her hair up, she looks like an alien in movies. I Have to tell her, but waiting till the right time when I know I can get away with it.))

Guess I'll go to the diner, but don't think the alien works tonite. Have to ask her if she can cook.. Have a feeling she cooks plastic and aluminum.)) The way conversations have gone, it should get pretty funny.

I asked her if she could cook, and said she can, but doesn't like red meat. I pictured her eating small furry animals Whole.. like Alf.))

Another young, Very friendly waitress who took good care of me came back the other day. Not that attractive, but interesting, especially that she acts more than friendly. Could be just for tips, which is fine, and not getting charged for every little thing.. Told her it was good to see her back which she appreciated. Brooke charged me last night, probably because the mgr was sitting near me. That is fine, and wouldn't want them to get into trouble and get fired. I was going to give Brooke a bigger tip since she said the nite was real slow, and thought twice when she charged me for things she usually doesn't, but did anyway. Last night, when leaving, she asked if I was leaving her. She is pretty, interesting, and funny, but oh so young.)) She asks a Lot of personal questions, so I started to also. If I was my old self, before injury, I'd get more interested. I've had relationships with older and younger wemen, so age isn't important. One 4 yrs older than me when 32, concerned me, because I thought she might not be 18 yet, though in a club, and I had a few drinks in me, but her energy and look weren't normal for her age. That lasted till she had back surgery, and couldn't deal with us, and pushed me away, and after getting her straightened out after a botched surgery, I couldn't get feelings back for her, and she got married on me weeks after last being with her, and weeks after that her husband died, and she was back. Her life had gotten Real complicated, and I didn't want to be involved. It was TOO stressful, and I let someone else deal with it. Then I went the other way, with a girl 10 yrs younger.

My life is Too complicated now to want to get involved, and would need someone who wanted to be with me enough to deal with it, and I'm not really looking, except on a Good day, which doesn't last long. Then again, if the Right one came along... I'm Very particular, and turned down many opportunities.

sometimes... When I wanted something/one I found a way to get it. Now I just try to survive.

Made it out to the diner, and Brooke waited on me evem not sitting where she was working. If I thought I could handle the situation myself, I'd hit on her. Went to the park and chatted with a friend for a while, and then to look for another one, and went back to the diner to rest. Driving home feeling exhausted would have been risky.

Gona be cooler so have to get working on the house till Sat, and hope I don't do myself in. Then Hope I finish the car stuff. Left everything at sis's, so don't have to bring anything.

Picked up a few cheese steaks and gona chow down.

The cheese steak was Goooo d. Tried to eat only half of one, but a whole one went down. Bought 3, so will nibble on them when the craving hits.

Lost track of when Brooke works. Think she worked for someone on her normal day off, and now I'm not sure. She is a sweetheart, and very attentive, so like when she is on. Probably dating someone. Saw the BF of an Extra Extra friendly young waitress, Maria who was working at another diner, and quit, when at the steak shop. He said she is working in the burbs now. Should take a ride and go see her. She is over the top when she sees me, with hugs and kisses. LOL Yesterday Brooke was in my face when talking, she got So close. I'm tempted to make a move, but don't want to get shot down, or make her slow down, if she isn't interested, and realizing I am reading too much into her actions, and I'd be getting less done here. I always waited for the right time to move. Whatever, she sure makes the diner interesting, and she IS interesting with her look and manner, and things she does, that we laugh about.)).

The diner always used to be interesting with all the different, interesting, sociable people who used to go and work there. With the new owners, they changed the mood of the place, but then it WAS a soap opera, I called, "The Days of Our Diner". The former owner was crazy. Had 2 kids with a GF, that him and his wife adopted. He died and his wife started running the place. The son was doing drugs, and did things like shut the place on Sat night, telling everyone to leave. They used to have live music on Sat. One night he came out of the kitchen and racked a shotgun. Every car he drove, his and the famlies got dented, and they were Caddy's or Jags. They say his dad bought him a Vette when he was 13. One he ran off the road, and tore the back bumper off, and then he rolled it. After the diner was sold, he stopped in, and said he totaled a Porsche. Not long after they say he died. His dad went to jail for tax evasion, but got on work/release, and used to fly to the prison to spend the night there, and run the 3 diners and car wash he had in the daytime. I first met him in the office of the private plane part of the airport. He told stories about his adventures, and running a plane off the taxiway and burning it for Ins.

going to make a move, but after I get myself/life together, or on the way. Have to in case I am successful. Will motivate and give me incentive. What do they say, think that you will be and you will be? I was spontaneous before my injury. Now everything takes lots of planning.

Hitting on someone who is working is tough. Think subliminal is the way to go. LOL I was tapping a spoon, and Brooke asked me what was wrong, if I had something on my mind. Should have said, her.)) She will say things about me, I am thinking to say about her, so we seem to be on the same wave length.

Have to come up with a nickname for her, since Brooke makes me think of Brooke Shields, who I always thought looked like a cave man, and more so as she has aged. I usually pick a trait that stands out. One with baby fine blonde hair, I called Silky.

I think I made the post about 1 AM.

I may be reading Brooke wrong, since she may just be as friendly with everyone, but I'll take it as being personal, since she asks a lot of personal questions. She has a great personality, and makes her seem special. She isn't afraid to laugh, even at herself. Another young one who went out of her way to chat with me a few times seemed to cool off, though the day before she was still going out of her way, but then they get busy, especially when their shift ends.

Anyway, I like chatting with friendly people, and doing things for people who do things for me. Helped a guy I know solve a car problem at the park, that was a blown fuse, that controlled his door locks, lighter and radio. It was a car like my old one, and he couldn't find the fuse box. It was a different year than mine, and the box was in a different location, but I found it.

well, she likes animals, but Pitt Bulls. Call that a negative. She'll have to make up for it.))

So hard to chat, since she keeps busy, and doesn't slow down, but funny, she doesn't forget what we were talking about when she comes back, so it stays with her. This is like work.

may not see Brooke today, I may not get back in time, and she may be off today. Interesting how some people are interesting, which is always interesting.)) Nice when capable people are into what they are doing.

WHAT day she has off ought to drop a BIG hint...................

Got to the diner before her shift ended. Didn't see her so thought she was off, but then she appeared. She was working in the back in the lounge. There was some commotion about something. She passed and didn't say anything. It was a complicated situation.

IF you had a chance to ask her What day she has off,,,it might drop a hint that you'd like to see her,,,,go out to eat?? go to the park?? whatever................

The girls often say what days they are off, and what days are Their Friday. I never took that as a hint. I like obvious info, like in the Way they say it. I like a sure thing. When I am ready, I'll be obvious.

When the casinos opened in Atlantic City, I asked one if she wanted to go see them, and she said, she wasn't interested in them, so I told her, since she gets me coffee, let me buy her one, and she said she wasn't interested. 3 weeks later she said, she was ready for the coffee. That became dinner and a movie, but with a stop at a GNC on the way, to get lysine or arginine, for her herpes. That was a concern, and AIDS and genital herpes had just hit the news. GNC had info sheets on the imbalance causing it that she showed me. She looked like a China Doll, and I thought I was with Typhoid Mary. Since I get herpes I wasn't that worried. I searched after being with her, and still wasn't worried, and never got anything from her.

A newer waitress I got interested in, who was a bit distant, finally got friendly. Maybe she didn't like my interest. I was just being sociable. I backed off, and now she is getting friendly. Well, at least she smiles and makes sure she says, hello.)) She is attractive but showing some age. Maybe seeing the younger girls being so friendly made her change. Then again, maybe she likes to be difficult. She didn't seem like at first, and I told her she was different.

I went and couldn't go for it. I was feeling rotten, and she was working in the lounge.

today is another day, and Maybe she will be off. Seems to be working Every day now. Maybe needs the money. She used to be off Mon & Tue, but worked them last week, so have to see.

She doesn't stay still for long, so like hitting a moving target, and the management will tell them to do something if they stop to chat. Interesting that she finishes what she was saying on her return, when it looked like she wouldn't, but I like to finish ideas. Says she forgets things, but I don't see it with me

made it out to the diner, and Brooke the Alein was there, and greeted me when walking in. I was surprized to see her, and she was working a different section, so didn't get to chat. I did chat with another waitress about wildlife and the environment, so it was interesting. Brooke came over and told me not to believe what the girl said, which didn't sit too well with her. Interesting...

no UFO landings tonite. Going to get confused when Brooke is off, Mon & Wed? One who is a Biology Grad and I have been chatting. She is into nature and the enviormnent. Told her about some animal rescue places, and she said she volunteered one summer at a marine mammal one in CA. PBS did a show about it, so gave her the URL of the show on line, and one about an elephant sanctuary. Funny, she wasn't very chatty before, but is getting more so.

getting dizzy. Brooke moves real fast, and hard to get to talk to her. She asked 2 guys I chat with where I was, and came over to say hello. Had things to tell her about her dog, and Did. Wanted to suggest things to try for the dogs gas and bad breath she told me about tonite, but she went to wait on customers, and was working another area, and didn't come back, and I didn't feel like getting up to go tell her, not feeling good. Thought she would pass by and not be as busy. Now I'll have to wait till next time I see her. It's like work. Thought about making a list and giving it to her, but that's not convient. Maybe I will.
