| a neighbor who usually comes back from shopping at 8:30 came back at 9:30 this AM. Maybe he didn't set his clocks back or His clock wasn't set back. The PC clock changed on it's own, but will have to change others. One car, I have figured out how to do it easily, since I had to reset it often, and last night the stations wouldn't change for a while, so it may be dieing, and have to see about the other car. Not sure about the TV, that used to change when it wanted to.
Didn't go back out last night, was too comfy. Thinking of going out today, but not sure if I will or when. Tail gaters will crowd the park, so that won't be fun, but the game isn't till 4PM, but Some have breakfast there. The morons get ripped off by the team owners, and they Still support the team, Mo Rons...
Saw the loonies last night in the diner. Still drug addled. Non stop talking about Nothing... Doesn't matter what You are interested in, just what They are, so have No time for Them... One Way Streets don't work. Can't get a word in edgewise anyway. Good Old DRUGS... LOL

| Got my motor running. Wanted to get to Walmart before the pharmacy closed, but sis called to tell me her BIL died. He had everything wrong with him. Bad heart, diabetic, hip replaced, and lung cancer that was cured, and then brain cancer.
Drove the Sube a good bit which was enjoyable, especially after getting a different gear oil in the trans that makes it shift better. 2nd change is supposed to make it even better, getting all the other oil and its additives out. Some flush it, but I was just glad to change it. It is almost perfect now, so better should be really good. Now it never balks shifting into reverse. Will wait a while to change it again. Odd the co is said to only put the oil I put in in the high performance model. Guess it costs more, and the model costs 2X as much as mine, so the bean counters must stop its use in all models. I like to fix or change things I don't like, to make them what I want.
Stopped at the diner and chatted with a young waiter about PC's. Have to ask if he can help me fix some hard drives.
My eyes were a bit off tonite. Neck fees stiff, and eyes hurt a bit, like they didn't want to move, and got a slight headache. Luckily I fornd a parking space after loosing one I was after, then another opened up.

| didn't get moving, slept More. Now I hope to get out shopping. It's getting dark, so will be like night time. Gona hit rush hr though, which won't be good. Maybe try to avoid it, go in another direction doing other things first. Should have thought of that before, maybe would have gotten out when it was lighter. | |

| Agggg. Coughing woke me, but a little cayenne cured that. Gona be up for a while. Have to find the old ign switch, to figure which wires to short to try to get the Chevy started, and install a reg switch, if that starts it. Make it like a New car with a push button start, like the OLD cars had. | |

| Made it out twice, to the food store, gas station, in town, for a ride, and to see a friend. Had to hear one moron in the diner. I can just hear my grandfather say in Italian, he Never shuts up. He had to say in my ear, Lets Go Eagles, in a low, dumb sounding voice. I told him he was dumb. He doesn't care. You have to say things till he understands, and he doesn't when passing buy. Have to get annoyed for him to start to understand, bcause he doesn't hear ayone unless They insist. He thinks he is smart, interesting and funny, but it's the Zoloft... A guy I know who doesn't know him had to Tell Him to Stop asking him answers to cross words, because he was Trying to enjoy his dinner, not be asked Dumb Questions. The moronssaid, Oh, like he didn't realize he was being annoying. The Zoloft must make him Ignorant and Numb, Like Most Morons Are... they Keep on doing their Dumb Stuff, till they get Smacked in The Brain. | |

| hope to change the oil in the Subaru soon, and buy some parts for the Chevy, and maybe have the ign module I replaced tested. Would like to be sure it is bad, since it was intermittent. Wonder if that would show in a test? | |

| Long day planned. Wonder if I'll make it. Lots of returns, and things to buy and parts to have tested. Then want to change the oil on the Subaru. It's a lot to do for me, especially in the daytime. Not sure if I should do the hard or easy things first. Doing the hard ones first would get them out of the way, but the stress would be fatiguing. | |

| getting things together, but trying to decide what to do. Don't feel that energetic. Just want to do what I Feel like, which isn't good, since that isn't very much. Supposed to be rainy the next few days, so that puts a crimp in working outside, then it might be windy one day. 2 returns are over the 90 day limit, so that is irritating. Trying to figure how to get around it. Don't want to drive out of my way to do things. Want to do things efficiently and economically. | |

| Not getting moving, and slept again. Wish I could, since weather is gona get rainy and windy, but going to have to deal with it. At least it's staying mild.
Might have a challenge taking the oil filter off the Subaru, if the dealer put a smaller one on and on tight.. I have a tool that is needed, that fits the larger ones. Will have to try to shim it if they did, but if real tight, it might not work.
Eager to try to get the key out of the ignition for a real freindly older waitress. She makes going to the diner enjoyable, so would like to help her out, Plus see if the tip on how to do it works. Could come in handy some other time.
Guess I should drive the Chevy further to test it, but not further than needed.

| would be nice to be able to fix the body like fixing a car. Don't feel like moving, but looking up info on cars. Looking up testing of the old part I replaced, since it would be nice to test it to see what went wrong. One store that tests things, doesn't test the part. Maybe the young guy I met at Pep Boys can do it there.
I installed a lighter in the Subaru but it blows the fuse too easily. If the lighter is in and I adjust the electric mirrows it blows, and I adjusted it to mek it get hotter and it blew the fuse. Found resetable circuit breakers that replace the fuse, but one is physically too big, and would have to enlarge the slot it fits in, but there is another slim one, and they work slightly different. Fuses cost .85, and the breaker is 15 on line. Have gone through 2 fuses, and will be more the way it is working, and stressful, having to be careful with it, but going through 20 fuses would be a lot. Could put a larger fuse, but that might not be enough, and might be risky, and I could repair the blown ones, but don't want to on a newer car. If I could find the breaker locally it would cost half without the shipping, but don't think the local stores carry them.

| found a auto parts site on line with the breaker i want and a plug to connect an under hood light I want to install that a store wanted 15$ for, so 15$ ea, for 1/3 the price w/ ship. They have other parts I could use, cheaper, but have to figure what I need. | |

| made it out and drove the Chevy, and it ran. Went to a parts store to look for what I wanted to order on line and they didn't have it. To the diner and tried to fix the waitreses car, but couldn't. Saw the loonie and grunted to him. That's all he deserves. Drove and did some food shoping, and came home and parked near the house, which is rare at the hr.
Ordered the parts on line. Raining and may rain some tomorrow, so not sure about working outside on the car tomorrow.

| Morning!
my son's car had same problem with ignition - it is a Ford.
Seems you had to bang on the dash or something drastic. Eventually it got un-stuck. I can check for sure what cured it.

| The key is stuck in the ign switch, and won't come out. Searching on line it said, there was a cable that will keep the switch from going to the lock position where the key can be removed, and just wiggling the cable lets it release. It works on Many makes of cars. I found a cable and wiggled and pushed it but no luck. This car is old and a bit rough, and feared messing something up. The headlights come on seemingly by themselves, but when you turn the key, that' s always in the ign.
This whole adventure started when her headlights were on, long after she had parked the car, that I saw and told her about, and went out and got them to turn off last week, or her battery may have run down.. They have a delay timer, and talking to her, that they Have come on in the daytime, when she parks under an overpass near the diner, that must switch a nightime sensor.
Not knowing how the car works, and her lights being on before, whenever I wiggled the key to see if it would come out, the headlights would come on, and be on for at least 30sec. with the min on the timer. Since the car is rough, and they had been on last week, seemingly for No reason, I feared messing something up under the dash, and I was ready to replace the ign switch on mine, before changing the module on the engine, and had dropped the steering wheel to do it.. Now I know her car better, but still wouldn't want to mess it up. It runs, but the key won't come out.
Many people had replied to the site I saw, complaining about the Same problem, and All were able to get the key out, so it seemed easy to do, and I like solving problems.
