Yawn......

slept again, and woke, wanted to go back to sleep, but decided to heat some food. Laid down and maybe dozed, but not for long. Game is on and will watch a bit, and maybe sleep more, since eating usually makes me sleepy.

Didn't clean the 2nd snow off the walk or cars, and the one before had ice under it on the Sube, so no telling what will be there. I'll probably go out in a while.

dozed again after eating, and got more food. Glad the football team lost, because from top to bottom they are stupid, but slick. Guess I'll get ready to go out, and late enough to miss the loonies, which is my usual time, but don't want to go to the diner early and have to see an hear the morons.

Have to see what I have to do about the snow..

waking and listening to Gov Rendel of PA. More snow is coming, and should try to get the Chevy aligned. The shop I plan to go to that had the race cars, might have some thoughts on the gear oil to put in the Subaru transmission, since the Pantera race cars they had, had the same type of transmission/axle, that should have the same needs.

Probably go to the park and diner if I get out.

slept again. Woke and Then I heard the workers next door, which makes me think, maybe they made noise before that woke me.

Looks wet out, so maybe the precip started. Going to try to get out and get the alignment, though, they may not do it when wet or snowy.

slept after eating, and debating whether to go out. Looks like 4-5" have fallen, with more to come.

slept a good bit after last nights adventures. about 3 hrs after being out earlier, and 8-9 after the shoveling and walking around in the snow. Pretty achey now. Trying to figure how to find the Chevy in this mess??

slept again, maybe 5 hrs. Guess I'm still recovering from yesterday and last night. Probably go get the Chevy tomorrow. Parking should be better in the neighborhood by then. How much better I'm not sure, but should be able to park on the main street,which will help, and walking should be easier on sidewalks. Most should be shoveled. Thinking of taking a cab, since 6 blocks is a long walk for me now, and upand over snow won't be easy. Maybe hitch hike.))

down to 2 hrs sleep. Then will be 1. Woke around 5AM, and it was strange, not wanting to get out of bed, but was hungry. Felt I was somewhere else.

When I go to get the Chevy, I can take a bus for 2 blocks of it for 2$. Wonder what a cab would cost for the 5 blocks? There is a senior citizen club next to the food store where I think it is. Wonder if they have transportation I could take? Have to try to call.

Slept Again, and back down to 1 hr. Won't be for long, since I feel like walking to go get the Chevy. Bus or cab don't appeal to me, but will my body hold up for the walk over ice and snow, or just the distance, and if I can't find the car, what then?? Probably take a cab back. 30 out and windy. Better get moving. Hope the Chevy starts and runs.

slet a good bit, maybe 7 hrs, which is rare. Want to get the Chevy aligned before the storm tonite, but undecided where to take it. The place i stopped at I am not comfy with the owner. Think he might be a rip off, quoting me a price foir aligning 4 wheels, when the car only needs 2, and saying he used to drive a tow truck, and here they shoot at each other and set cars on fire at rival co's, and the guy looks like he fits that. Could go to Pep Boys, but would have to explain a lot or answer questions, about what is wrong with the car. Complicated...

slept about 5 hrs, and feel like doing some work. Need to fix tha bathroom light fixture, but have to find a flourescent tube socket, I'm pretty sure I have some loose, or have to take one off a 4' fixture, that I'd rather not do if I have loose ones.

Thinking about ways to accomplish things, like changing transmission oils easily. The Chevy has a 20 bolt pain that had to be removed, and the Subaru it means getting way under the car, that is awkward and risky. Could suck the oil out of both through the dip stick/fill tube, though may not get it all. On the Chevy it can be flushed through lines to the cooler section in the radiator, though if old, that could loosen gunk, and plug things up. In the Subaru, since I have changed it once the hard way, draining it, the next time might not be as critical, and some say, it all doesn't come out when drained, so it's diluting it each time it is changed. so not much different how it is done if true. Draining it every other change might be the best way.

Think I'll pick up a suction pump that are cheap, and try it. Could rig up a setup on the Chevy, and feed fresh in as it pumps out, but again might dislodge gunk, so maybe a bit at a time is better.

slept again, and off and on a good bit of the day.

Didn't look for the flourscent light end, so need a flashlight or the hall light for the bathroom, which is getting old. Going to have to find the piece and change it. Rather work on electric in the daytime when there is more light so I can see, and not get fried, especially when working near something I could get grounded on, like the sink plumbing.

slept a good bit, and guess I better get after fixing the bathroom light. First I have to find the part I have, and then take the fixture apart and try to install it. Not sure if the part I have is the same. Hope it is. If not I'll try to find one. Might be standard. Will be nice to have the light workall the time. Sometimes I've had to tap it. Would have fixed it if I knew what the problem was, and it wasn't managable, but I'm not the old me.

slept most of the day, and have to get working on the bathroom light. Dark now, so not the best time, but Still have to find the socket, and hope I have the right one. Looked them up on line, and not sure if they will all fit. What I have looks like what is on the fixture, but might be different when I get it apart. Just fixed a broken wire on a El space heater I have in the bathroom, that I thought was going to be hard That wasn't as complicated in some ways. Guess the best way is to take the light fixture off, and work on it where I have light. Was thinking of working on it in place, but that would mean standing and reaching. Have to disconnect wires, instead of unplugging.

was up early for a few hrs, and fell back to sleep, and slept for 5. Thought about going to get the Chevy aligned, but was a bit late to, and didn't feel like rushing. Getting cold and windy, and the weekend, and don't want any hassles, so have to find a place I am comfortable with.

slept most of the day, and guess I'll try to get out. it's Cold out, in the teens, but not much wind, which is good. Wore my Isotoner Driving gloves to move the car early, and they are pretty warm. Just stretchy with a velore type lining which seems to help better that knit ones, or evn Thinsulate ski gloves, which is surprizing

Going to take some zinc before going, since that helps me Not feel the cold. Used to take it before walking the hounds on nites worse than this, and not realize how cold it was till I got back in the house and felt the heat. Just worry that I Will feel it... that makes me hesitate.
