want to learn how to ride horses

One place charges 240$ for 6 lessons, and there is a riding club for people who don't own a horse, to ride theirs. 400$ to join, and 225$/mo. That's a bit steep especially since I don't get to do things I want, when I want. I thought riding might help my damages like it does for people with retardations. The motion of riding is supposed to help some problems. Would like to make a deal, to help out at the stables to be able to get some riding time. Guess I'd have to Muck out the stalls.))
