Doing Taxes

I started yesterday, and have to stay at it. Have to figure out what is going on, and what the IRS got after me for, that I messed up a few yrs ago, forgetting one item. Between what I had, and was added, it does get crazy. Have SO many items to figure, plus what the IRS added, to complicate things, and me not able to manage things easily, it becomes really complicated, and so hard to go through, that my eyes and brain hurt, when trying to deal with it, that it takes waiting to the last minute to get me motivated.

Making progress. Last night I opened all the statements and 1099's, and today got them in order, and recorded some #'s, and listed most items. Have a few multi ones to go through and make sense of. Co's changing their statements, and how they list items, makes for learning their new format. Maybe figuring it out will prevent Alzheimers.))

Was talking to sis last night about it, and what an investment counselor said on the radio, and what people should be invested in, and I mentioned one thing I thought we had, that I had heard about before, and she said we had something like it, and mentioned the name. I didn't remember the name, and she said to look for a 1099 for it, and thought, either it didn't come in, or I misplaced it. I searched and found it listed at a broker I have.

Have to check what the IRS got after me for, that they gave me a big refund for, and then said I owed. It was too complicated to search, and they took money from accs, because I didn't straighten it out. Have to figure out what happened, that I wasn't up to solving, but want to know, and am up for dealing with it now, since I am working on this yrs taxes.

Counting down. Found out about the extension during the week, so slacked off working on them a bit. Had most things done, and just needed to review, and almost done. Think I need another form, to list 20$, but just going to add it into the total, unless I get out and about to get the form. Not worth making a special trip.

counting down. Found out the deadline was extended, so slacked off on doing them, but now it is getting close to crunch time tomorrow. Didn't feel good yesterday, maybe from something I ate, since lots of different foods, and wondering which one. Not going to eat all 3 together again. Felt like I had been run over.

Getting scared about how much I owe, and then find deductions, and then things I still have to list. Dammed instructions are complicated, and have to reread them a few times before they make sense.

Well, I think I'll be done in time. Hope I am.

almost there, and taking a break. Should finish later tonite. Had some numbers added wrong, and cut alot of tax I thought I owed.

have to finish up. I ate, and now have to get working after I clean up. Think I'll make the deadline. One way or another.

Yesterday Ifelt rotten, and think from something I ate. I ate 4 new, different things, and trying to figure what it might have been? I only ate one item I did before, chicken, a different piece. If I feel like I did, getting taxes done will be rough.

The Deed is Done.. Grueling, and I started owing a LOT more tax. Figuring and refiguring it came down. Damm law is Complicated, and trying to figure it out is grueling.

I Really need to sleep, but have to mail the thing. Have a few hrs, so going to rest a bit.

The deed is completed. Does off and was affraid I would sleep till the P O was closed, but I pushed to go there. I was like a zombi walking and crossing the main street, and get in the PO and there were 20 people ahead of me, and some Real characters. A girl ahead of me looked like a druggie or alky, and an odd looking face, like something I saw on the Twilight Zone. A guy with a derby had with feathers, had a walking stick, looking like an xmas tree without branches, with all the stuff decorating it. He had earrings made from different sized pull tabs.

recovering from yesterday. Slept a lot in te afternoon, guess I got about 6 hrs, which is a LOT for me. Woke feeling achey, but got out and drove the Subaru. Must have been groggy, since the shifting gave me a workout. Hadn't driven it in a while, and with the price of gas, haven't been taking my relaxing cruises, but hit them all last night. A bit achey today, and maybe the driving and shifting caused some. The car used to wear me out, and work my left arm and leg that I don't get in my Chevy with an automatic. Should be better, and light exercise, and help with coordination problems from my injury.

Guess I'll get back to my daytime sleeping. Have some IRS things to do still, but not up to it now.
