Yo Chris, Check my ride?

The Lotus Esprit I was interested in, was listed as being in NY city. The guy told me it is the UK. He lists his location as, Upwood Royal Air Force Base, in Ramsey (Cambridgeshire) I figured if that was close to you, maybe you could go see if there was even a car there, but I think it is a scam, since the price is half what it probably should be, unless the # is pounds, but it's listed as $'s. He said he would pay for the shipping to the states. Might get some parts in a shoe box.))

He mentioned he had the car on Ebay, but is selling it himself now. I tried to contact Ebay to see if there were any scams recently with that make car, but didn't get an answer. Maybe he had it on in the UK anyway.

I learned a lot about the cars and co, which have followed me for 40yrs from when I got a Euro Ford Capri, and Ford, Lotus, and Cosworth, the race motor builder were all connected with the car and motor, and when I saw what a UK Subaru dealer does to the Subes there, installing a Cosworth built motor, I went right out to buy one, after thinking of the car for 5 yrs.

The Esprit is an 88', and the one they sold here, didn't have a better transmission they put into the UK one till 89', so the 88' UK one would be more desirable, like the shape of the car that was changed a bit in 88', that makes it look modern.

Well, I learned a lot about the car, the good and the bad, and maybe I will come across one that is reasonably priced, and has/is what I want. The Subaru comes really close, and could be made closer, if I could get on it.
