| Don't know What came over me... I did some painting outside. Just a little, before it got dark and before the rain comes tomorrow. I think I know what happened. Was feeling out of sorts and took some sinus meds. Since Everyone else is taking Drugs..Why Not... | |

| humidity is down and a bit cooler, and going to Have to get working outside. Can't find some tools, and gona have to improvise others, and hope things like 10yr old caulking are still good, or gona have to buy new stuff, that will delay some jobs. I started doing the work 14yrs ago, and stripped paint and let it sit. Guess I'ts about time I got back to it. Was going to make a new front door, like I would have before, but repairing the old one is the best I can do now, and taking 14yrs to try to do that. | |

| got in gear and was doing pretty good till the sun came out, and then I just melted. Struggled to finish, and got real clumsy. Starting to think I have TOO Much D. I function a Lot better in the shade or at night. | |

| up early, and have many things I want to do, but too comfortable to get stressed from heat or work. Mild today, and rather enjoy it, though will wish I took advantage of it. I did something yesterday, so living off the satisfaction, even if minor. Interesting shows on TV, about Buddhism, and science so not bored. | |

| on a roll.. maybe. Not gona work on the house. Think I'll go joy riding, and clean the car windows, and go see my alien waitress friend. Since I painted the front door, though have a Lot of repairs to make on it, it is all one color, and might move me to work on the windows some, and come back and do the hard work after. Might see the loonies at the diner, so will have to deal with them. Am a bit sore from working yesterday, but just shoulders and arms. | |

| better get something done before it gets real hot again. Cars are due inspections this mo. The Check Engine Light (CEL) comes on sometimes on the old one. Think it is because of the manual switch I put on the cooling fan, because the fan stopped coming on, and I can't get the temp switch that turns it on. A mechanic friend thinks it is a different temp switch, and I think that works, and both cost 25$, if the right ones could be gotten. This weather makes everything harder to do, and not wanting to do it.
Might have to wait. A show on the Arctic just ended, and one about the Antarctic came on. What to do...?

| I got out and tested for the CEL, by reconnecting the fan temp switch. Seemed to take longer to come on but it did, so it must have just been a cooincidence that it started coming on when I installed the manual switch. Going to have to check the car computer, Electronic Control Module ( ECM) for stored error codes. I was at the park and didn't want to do it there just in case I cooked the ECM and couldn't start the car. Have to short 2 wires to get the CEL to flash the number of any error codes that you look up in the manual. When I came home it was dark and the flash light I carry with me didn't work. Thought it got turned on and the batts ran down, but looks like the circuitry in it that makes it switch to red green, or white crapped out. Had one bad batt, but replacing it didn't help, so took it apart which was an ordeal to get to the multi switch, and couldn't get it working, so it may be toast.
Need to get out and see if I can solve the CEL problem, or may be scrambling in the heat to fix the problem to pass inspection. Last problem was a simple fix. Should try to clean the inside of the newer cars windows. Hard to see the coating unless the light is hitting them right. That usually happens while driving and the angles change. Probably get comments from the neighbors, who can't do anything themselves, and pay someone to make things worse, or screw something else up.

| PC got attacked by a Malware Fixer. Had to restart the PC to get it to stop. Started a new session having to load the pages I keep open. Decided to try the on line radio show that was locking up the PC, that I would have to start a new session to get running. Contacted the station to try to find out if they knew if they were causing the problem, but no reply. Running it and so far so good. It is a Folk radio show that doesn't sound like folk music I remember, and kind of good. Mellow and interesting, and nice to have playing in the background.
Have to get moving and working on the cars, but not up to it. Need to work on the house.

| Didn't solve the old cars CEL problem, but think I got the coating off the inside of the newer cars windows. I used every chemical, and technique I had handy, even tire dressing, and mixing some. Using a dry sponge to apply might have provided friction. I was soaked after, and was working in the shade, but I wasn't drained.

| so easy to enjoy mild weather and not want to work. Like easier to sit than walk around doing things. Would be nice to be able to do everythig while sitting. Living on one floor, not having to climb stairs would be good also. | |

| got started. Maybe a delayed reaction to the B-1. Worked in the basement, and sweat was pouring off me, and getting in my eyes. Going to have to find my or get a sweat band. Having to wear glases complicates things, but then I used to wear saftey glases, but didn't need them to see, so different. Still looking for a cure for excessive sweating. Trying all I read about, but might not be one. Want to do work outside. Temps are up, but dew and humidity aren't bad, and will be in the shade, and don't plan to stay long, IF I can get motivated... | |

| slept after working, and woke feeling good. Hasd the radio on, and listening to the ball game. Didn't want to fully wake or get up, even though the Phillies were getting clobbered. Wanted to eat but that usually makes me sleepy, so holding off. Have more work to do, and holding off on that also, though thinking about other things I Need to do. Used to be I did more Doing than Thinking. | |

| counting down. Have to go get the cars inspected. Don't like anyone working on my cars or things, since they usually screw something up. Should have waited to clean the interior. Mechanics can be dirty | |

| roughing up the outer edge of the steering wheel with fine sandpaper to give a better grip helped a bit, and then I thought I should have run the paper across the edge, not around it, to create a better grip and my hands not slide, so tried that, and that seems better. Anything that makes something easier to do, needing less effort or thought has to help.
I tried cleaning the dirt off the windows again, and messed them up, and not sure why. At night I was getting reflections from every light that caused a bright line that moved across the windshield as I drove by them, and even headlights and taillights from cars. The Rain X window treatment causes that to sunlight unless gone over with a wet cloth after applying it. I hadn't put it on the outside recently, though used it on the inside on a dry sponge to remove the baked on coating on the inside of the glass, that is probably from the fumes that cause the new car smell, but didn't have the problem after I used it, and think I went over the inside with Windex. I used newspaper to get the streaks off the outside after cleaning them, but using the wipers with fluid a few times didn't fix it. I thought I had solved the problem with the coating on the inside. Have to figure out what is going on now. I CAN'T stand Anything that affects driving negatively.

| the wheel is already 2-3x the thickness of my other cars, and even with BIG hands, is harder to grip as tight, and it takes more effort, so don't want to increase the size with a cover. Have enough differences when I switch cars. More grip on what I have would work, which is what I am working on. Driving slow and turning in tight situations in the city, and often one handed with shifting, I want more grip. my hand sticking to the wheel would be ideal, so I could Palm it. I may just get it that grippy before finishing. Flat Black Paint would help. The center horn/airbag pod is flat, so it would match.
Yea, I can see me on a motorcycle. Driving a car, or even walking is hard enough.

| starting to figure how to stir the 5 gal can of gear oil, and how to transfer it to 4 and 5 qt containers, with the least effort and mess. Was going to carry it down the basement, and try to balance it on a lower step, and pour it out, laying it on it's side, and rolling it so the opening is at the right location to pour into a funnel in a jug. That didn't seem easy, so maybe on the table saw's top, into a measured 1 qt container, and into the funnel in the jug. Better idea seems laying it on the back kitchen door sill/opening that is higher than the yard. Then roll it to pour it out, into the measured container, then into the funnel in the jug. That way a mess won't be as bad, and better than lugging it down the stairs and wrestling it. Have to get all the things I need to try to make the job go the easiest. | |
