went down the basement to cut the end off a steel lug wrench to use as an extension to put the 3' pipe on to work the car jack, which uses the 18" lug wrenches as a handle. I tried using the motorized jig saw, but it bounced around on the lug wrench. Tried to cut a starter gruve with a hacksaw, which didn't help. The lug wrench has an angled head, which was bent more, and why I didn't worry about cutting the angle off, plus have many more, and can use it for the jack extension.

Wound up cutting it with a hacksaw, wich was a chore, trying to make room on the saw table top that i'm using as a workbench, and try to keep it from sliding. Looked for pieces of innertube to rest it on, but couldn't find the bag with them. Had to hunt for hack saw blades. Finally got cutting it, and it took time, being a 5/8" steel bar. I got it done, but my back got really tight, that made cleaning up really difficult. I wanted to sit, but no place close to sit down. Started sweating a good bit that was getting n my eyes, even with a headband on and a fan blowing on me.

trash wasn't picked up yet, and got the part filled bag filled and out. Now I have to stack all the things I sorted through to throw out. Not good when just piling things up to sort later, maybe years later. My back started to tighten, even with the back support, but increased the mileage. Now I have to fix the springs on the extension ladder. Didn't go look for any. Might try elastic for clothes. Rubber bands work but don't last long. Looking up modifications for car jacks, in case there are any I can use. One site makes all kinds of rigs and mods to do different things easier. Think I have done all I want, but hard to check if all or which ones fit all 3 jacks, that are in the cars and house. Should have all 3 together to check and save time.

worked on the ladder. Hope it works. Have to get springs, to do it right. It was hard muscling the ladder in a small space, to make it easier to see, and work on, and even then it was hard, not able to turn it enough, and had to work blind, and by feel. Well, I worked on it, so will see if it works.

making some progress. Feel like I'm on a roll, a mini roll. Thinking about what to do, and what to put where. That's new. Trying to loose some weight, and that's new also.
