| Put heat on my back yesterday and then took joint supps, and it stopped aching. Don't know how long it will last, but it has been puzzling. The back part could be part of a long standing overall muscle weakness I think is from my injury, that stiffens when standing for just a short time. Since the jump compounded the problem I searched the sacroilliac, to see how I might treat it. It is strange because the pain moves from side to side and location. It was hurting on the opposite side of the injury, and wasn't going away. My back can hurt in the ctr and on either side. Going to keep working on it to try to finally cure it. It has been off and on, mostly off for many months. Thinking 8. | |

| Started thinking about going for prolotherapy, since my hip, groin, and back still hurt at times, and it's getting tiring. Then I thought, I should try a cayenne plaster... It will be tricky to hit all the locations, but maybe all aren't needed. Probably start with the original site. Maybe that will fix it, or one at a time, but there are at least 6. Have to try it before going for prolo. It just might work, and save time, money, and a visit. | |

| Thinking of going for prolotherapy for my back, but before I do, have to break down and try a cayenne plaster. Heat helps but not for long or completely. Putting a plaster on my back is tricky. Did it once before but applied it to my whole back. Just going to do the lower back this time, and try to improve my technique. Used to sprinkle salt on a wet paper towel, and sprinkle on some cayenne, but salt crystals are sharp, and scratch. I started making a saline solution to avoid that. Then I used a piece of paper and plastic drop cloth to not get anything else wet. The cayenne clumps when sprinkled which didn't affect how well it worked, but think a solution of salt and cayenne is the best bet, maybe with some dry cayenne sprinkled. Angled the paper towel made the cayenne spread more when poured, but the wet paper towel is tricky to handle and apply. Maybe I figured the best and simplest way to do it all. | |

| Did the deed and applied a cayenne plaster. Put a back support on top to hold it in place. Feel an ache on one side, so have to see what it did. | |

| did some heavy lifting, went food shopping, and drove the Subaru that shifting gives me a workout, and my back is holding up. Left the plaster on, and may redo it to give it more time in place. Have some more heavy lifting to do. | |

| did the work, went to the diner,a nd food shoping lifting heavy. Felt beat but not aching. Came home and slept, and went to try to see the car I am after at the car auction. It looks pretty good, but I can't store it at my friends till the title comes in, so have to see if I can find a place.
Need to get some sleep...

| The cayenne plaster worked pretty good. Got rid of the back pain. Sill have an ache at times above and on the side, but minor. Might put the plaster there, to try to get everything right. | |

| back is holding up, but get an ache how and then when doing things, but they don't last. Planning on working on the cars a bit, minor things. Interesting that I am getting out in the daytime, but the weather is nice, and probably part of it.
Have 2 more cars at the auction I might want. One tomorrow and one Sat.
Trimmed my hair and beard, that was getting looking like Moses. A former neighbor who got homeless, really looked biblical. Haven't seen him in a long while, and wonder if something happened? Felt sorry for him.

| still have some back aching, but stopped wearing the back support all the time when out, or when lifting heavy things. I bring one with me when I go out, just in case my back starts to hurt. | |

| back hasn't hurt in a while. It is strange, and comes back every few weeks or months. Hope the cayenne plaster fixed it. The hot weather may help, with the back support and sweating.
Have to start working on the cars, now that the sun has moved, and it will be cooling down. Slept a few times today, and guess I'm feeling recovered, a bit.

| since my hip/back injury is quiet again, I have to work on the weak muscles problem I have. May be hard to solve, but think I did for a few mo, but will always keep trying. Tried some back exercises that have helped before, and trying the supps that had worked wonders, though one isn't available, but I have figured out mysteries before. The problem makes doing things while standing difficult, and sitting relieves it. Interesting they say that smoking can be a cause. I tend not to believe it in me, since it has been better at times.
debating whether to work this evening, or just wait till tomorrow when cooler. The heat may drain me, and limit me, and get less done opposed to waiting. Have to work on the back, and try to get back to normal.

| back still seems weak. Guess it will take some doing, and figuring out what will work. Maybe more of the exercises. Better than sever back pain, which isn't a stranger, but luckily never lasts that long, though when it comes back, it isn't much fun. | |

| chinched my back up with 2 back supports, and went down the basement and did some work. Did some sorting, and put aside some materials I will need to work on the car. Found 2 used oil filters I didn't throw out that I can use to use when flushing the crankcase. Was going to drain and reuse the one on the car, and then new ones, but can save them. Wanted to throw them out, but didn't want to deal with the mess of handling them.
Still thinking about the plan to flush the oil. Get different ideas each time. Would like to use the car to swap with the Subaru to use it, but not till I get good oil in it. At least then less chance of doing more damage, though just the start of the process, and then no telling where I'll get to park it, but won't be as worried about doing damage. Now with the old filters, maybe that will get me starting and change the oil. Maybe...
